Therapy FAQs
If you’re wondering whether your child could benefit from therapy, we’ve created a helpful Developmental Screener to assist in evaluating your child’s needs. This easy-to-use tool provides insights into whether your child may benefit from speech, occupational, or physical therapy, as well as behavioral health services. If you have concerns about your child’s development, communication, motor skills, or emotional regulation, we encourage you to complete the screener or reach out to us for guidance.
You can schedule an evaluation appointment by calling our office or using the online booking form on our website. Our team will help you navigate the intake paperwork, recommend therapies, and find the best available appointment for your evaluation. Treatment scheduling takes place after the evaluation based on the clinician’s findings. We offer both permanent and flexible scheduling options.
Depending on your insurance provider and plan, you may need a referral to start therapy. We must have a referring doctor on file to sign the plans of care. Contact our office for more details. Referrals can be faxed directly to us at 253.426.3096.
Please bring any relevant medical records, a list of current medications, and your insurance information. If your child is the patient, feel free to bring any IEPs or evaluations that may help us better understand their needs.
