What skills you can expect to see an 11th month old doing?
As always, this list is not comprehensive:
Your baby can walk while holding onto furniture, or other objects.
He or she can stand and play at furniture.
Your child will roll a ball when asked.
They can manipulate objects out of a tight fitting space.
With one hand support, your baby can lower to a squat and stand back up without any difficulty.
How to engage with your 11th old baby:
You can make a fort, and then crawl in and out of it!
You can take your little one swimming at your local YMCA or community pool!
You and your baby can practice climbing stairs.
Or, you can play in a ball pit.
If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s gross motor development, please call 253.237.3405 for an evaluation!
