Kid-friendly Hikes in Washington

Updated: 3 days ago

Looking for something fun to do this summer with your kids? Why not try hiking!?

Washington state has some incredible options for you to try!

1. Franklin Falls

If your kids are little but full of energy, this is a great hike to try! Franklin Falls is a trail that consists of 2 miles (roundtrip), and you get to experience a huge waterfall at the end! Bring some lunch or snacks and sit beside the waterfall as your view... your children won't forget it!

2. Rattlesnake Ledge

This is the most common hike that Washingtonians do because of its relatively easy length (4 miles roundtrip), and beauty! Once you get to the top, you get an amazing view of the pristine blue lake below!

3. Twin Falls

Twin falls can be found in the Snoqualmie region and it can be a great hike for your family to try out! It is only 2 miles roundtrip, and it has a beautiful waterfall for your kids to see!

4. Poo Poo Point

This hike can be more challenging than the hikes that I previously mentioned, but it is not impossible! It is a 7.5 miles hike roundtrip. But the most unique part of this hike is that hang-gliders will jump off of the top in the summertime! What a cool experience!
