What should my baby be able to do? Month 11

What skills you can expect to see an 11th month old doing?

As always, this list is not comprehensive:

  • Your baby can walk while holding onto furniture, or other objects.

  • He or she can stand and play at furniture.

  • Your child will roll a ball when asked.

  • They can manipulate objects out of a tight fitting space.

  • With one hand support, your baby can lower to a squat and stand back up without any difficulty.

How to engage with your 11th old baby:

  • You can make a fort, and then crawl in and out of it!

  • You can take your little one swimming at your local YMCA or community pool!

  • You and your baby can practice climbing stairs.

  • Or, you can play in a ball pit.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s gross motor development, please call 253.237.3405 for an evaluation!
